Problem:

The Wonderlist is a subscriber-based list of people who are looking for great offers and contests. The Toronto Star rents this list to brands who have an offer or contest to offer the market. The Star want to grow this list.

Solution:

We designed a series of promotions that will attract an initial response from the Star's own list, offering a significant contest - an all inclusive trip for 2 to Mexico. As an added incentive to share we offered an extra incenitve - if someone you refer wns - so do you!

Results:

A straight contest without a coupon offer resulted in 49,035 people engaging in the promotion, 28,500 were new - from social lift.
